I am a new-ish convert to the addiction that is quilting. Did a couple of beginners courses at the local shop while I was studying nursing at university. Being a time-poor student I didn’t really get a chance to do too much until I did a clinical placement at the local hospital where I was re-inspired by the nurses there – quilting addicts too.
Am now working full-time and have joined a quilting group that meets weekly. This keeps the interest up. I particularly enjoy English paper-piecing BUT have a long list of projects that I want to get done.
I am an enthusiastic beginner who hopes to learn heaps more and keep producing quilts that I like.
