Tracey Peterson Workshop

I learnt this technique of applique at a workshop by Tracey Petersen. the quilt was published in Australian Quilters Companion.

The colours are beautiful and I was glad to find an applique quilt that wasn’t too girly. This was done in class over a couple of days.

Tracey went over the basics of quilting but I am a big chicken – so will wait until I feel for competent. Would hate to wreck it.

  1. Is this a pattern from somewhere or one you created? How are you joining the pinwheels together?? Looks fun!

This pattern is Tracey’s own design. It was published in an Australian Quilters Companion magazine.

The pink pinwheel quilt is english paper pieced – it is completely stitched by hand.
